• Whole Beef = approximately 600 pounds. Side of Beef = approximately 300 pounds.
• Buyer works with processor to have meat prepared to their preferences as to roast size, hamburger pack size, steak thickness, etc.
• Buyer pays processing fee, which is $.41 per pound, plus slaughter fee (approximately $39 for whole beef).
• National prices for grass fed or all natural lean beef range from $4 to $5, or higher per pound in many instances.
   
  Since our focus is all natural, lean beef, buyer will notice the unique characteristics of this farm-raised meat.  The hamburger will be exceptional in taste with very little fat for the health conscious.  When a patty of this hamburger is cooked, it shrinks very little.  All the cuts will have less fat as well and the meat will not have that "spongy" feel one might experience with heavily marbled beef where so much is wasted by either trimming or melting away during cooking.
